I couldn't think about better start of a year for me as taking part in an art exhibiton in Northcott Theatre. It was nice last night to see my paintings in the different space surrounded by artworks of different artists. Suprisingly my paintings look bigger and brighter in the big space of the foyer than in my small and crowded atelier :).
I was waiting for this the whole week. Days are much shorter now and to make a decent photo of my brooches I need to wait till the weekend when I can use natural light. It's still quite gray and dull outside but it's better than nothing...so there I am here with my coffee posting this for you :). Have a great Sunday!
I woke up to a very dull and dark November morning today. Winter can be fun but mornings like this make me crave sunshine and colour even more. I love wearing colorful scarfs. I made a selection of wooden brooches and I think it can be a great way to "funky up" and "arty up" ;) every scarf, coat or wooly hat. They are available from my Etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/ninek?ref=si_shop.
...and now I will get some coffee :). Have a nice Sunday!
I am rediscovering my love to drawing again. It's bit different than what I used to do at school. I am really letting myself go and what I really like. The only rule I follow is not to use too many colours.
